My name is Muhammad Velji and I am a PhD candidate in the department of philosophy at McGill University, Montreal.

My main work that I publish on is in political philosophy using feminist but also both analytic and 20th Century continental philosophy.

I have competency and can teach philosophy of law, philosophy of race, Bioethics, but also Aristotle's ethical work, philosophy of biology and philosophy of mind.

I plan on defending my dissertation, The Philosophy of Piety: How Muslim Women who Veil Allow us to Rethink Automaticity, Agency, Adaptive Preferences, and Autonomy, in May 2019.
