I was invited by the University of Groningen's blog about religion and current affairs to write a two part primer for Europeans about the attempted veil bans in Quebec between 2013-2019. The first part goes into the cultural and historical background that set up the conditions for the veil bans in Quebec. In the second part I analyze all three attempts at banning the veil in Quebec.

I was also invited by the University of Groningen's blog about religion and current affairs to give a short response to Iceland tabling legislation to ban circumcision
